Destination Covered: Delhi – Agra – Bharatpur – Jaipur – Delhi
Day 01: Arrive at Delhi
Arrive in Delhi International Airport meet Surya Reisedienst’s representative transfer to hotel. Check in at a hotel and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, full day city tour of old & modern capital of India. Visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Built by Shah Jahan, the construction was started in 1844 and was not completed until 1658; Red Fort, which was also built by Shah Jehan. This massive fort was built from 1638 to 1648; Chandni Chowk and Rajghat – the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Witness the India Gate, the Presidents House & the Parliament. Visit Humayun’s Tomb: built in mid 16th century this is an early example of Mughal architecture; Qutab Minar. The tour ends with a visit to Laxmi Narayan Temple (Birla Mandir). Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 03: Delhi – Agra(Surface: 210 kms (Approx), 4-5 Hours)
Note: – Taj Mahal will be closed on every Friday.
After breakfast drive to Agra enroute visit Sikandra – Mughal Emperor Akbar’s Mausoleum. Agra city tour. Visit Red fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, and additions were made up until the time of his grandson, Shah Jahan. It contains the hall of public and private audiences amongst many other beautiful structures; Itmad-ud-daulah, which was constructed by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628 and is very similar to the tomb she constructed for her husband, Jehangir, near Lahore in Pakistan; the highlight of the day – The Taj Mahal, which was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the Taj began in 1631 and was not completed until 1653. Check in and overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 04: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Bharatpur(Surface: 60 kms (Approx), 4-5 Hours)
After breakfast drive to Bharatpur en route the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri. Visit the here Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Salim Chisti Tomb, Mosque, Palaces and ruins of other ancient monuments. Continue to Bharatpur. On arrival in Bharatpur, our representative transfers you to the hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
After breakfast proceed to full day tour of Bharatpur. Bharatpur is called as the Eastern Gateway to Rajasthan. Visit the Lohagarh Fort and the Bharatpur Museum. Also visit the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also called Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and it is the birdwatchers’ paradise. It is the prime attractions of Bharatpur and you will have wonderful opportunity to see the many species of birds including migratory birds. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 06: Bharatpur – Jaipur(Surface: 185 kms (Approx), 3-4 Hours)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and famous known as the Pink City of India. On arrival in Jaipur, our representative transfers you to the hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Visit the magnificent forts like Amber Fort (by elephant ride), Nahargarh Fort and Jaigarh Fort. In the evening, explore bustling & colorful local bazaars of Jaipur City. You will have wonderful opportunity to shop for exquisite handcrafts and beautiful artificial jewellery. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Jaipur
After breakfast proceed to sightseeing tour of Jaipur, visiting major attractions and important tourist places like City Palace, Albert Hall Museum, Govind Dev Ji Temple, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Akshardham Temple, Jantar Mantar, Hawa, Mahal, Jal Mahal, Ram Niwas Palace Gardens, etc. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 08: Jaipur – Delhi – Home(Surface: 270 kms (Approx), 5-6 Hours)
After breakfast drive to Delhi. Arrive in Delhi transfer you to International Airport to board the flight for your onward destination. Arrive home with wonderful memories of your tour escorted by Surya Reisedienst.
